VARISTY PLAYER SACRIFICES TOUCHDOWN: HONORS TEAMMATE'S FATHER

In this midst of all this hurricane tragedy, a game was played, reminding us to take care to remember the things that can be KIND and BEAUTIFUL about this world.

In Ohio at a varsity football game, running back Michael Ferns quickly decides to step out of bounds for what would have been a sure touchdown.... WHY did he do this?

Enter coach's substitute LOGAN THOMPSON, a FRESHMAN whose dad had died of a stroke two days before. Thompson's team brought him in to score his first varsity touchdown as a freshman... and that one is for you, dad.

This is a good world people. Don't forget it amidst all the election crap, mud slinging, hurricane terror, and war going on. It's the little human love that goes a long way.
