Every so often, some stuff will come up and it makes for interesting discussion here at the office.
When it does, it generally has no place on air here at the station. I mean, it's sometimes political, often times controversial, and honestly, it can get pretty heated. It's been happening more and more lately, and it happened today.
So, today, I taped it.
We got all fired up over a story in a DC blog about tea partiers coming to Washington DC and, well, it deserved to be talked about So we did.
It's with this introduction that I welcome you to explore [ off | air ].
That's the working name for these podcasts, I guess. We reserve the right to change it or whatever. All rights reserved.
Generally they involve Tim Staskewicz, from our online team, who is a political junkie like me; DM, who is what I call the digital architect of aural stimulation here at the station and sometimes interns or anyone else who has a point of view.
Nothing is right. Nothing is wrong. Everyone has a position, and while some are more obvious than others, it gives you a look into what we do and think here at the station. On everything. From politics, sports, and more. Basically, if it's stuff that pisses people off at a bar or restuarant, or if it's the stuff you're not supposed to bring up on dates, we talk about it.
Hope you like it. Comment away if you don't. I'd say call in, but, hey, it's off air, so you can't.
