Why I wear the #0 FAIL jersey in WigwamLand...

Kyla and I must have taken 20 pics when I wore the jersey on 12/23 doing some shopping... I don't wear because I hate. I wear because it's taking the shame and saying - you can't make it my shame anymore.

I mean come on... IDK if you're a Wigwam fan or not... but how can you do justice to the whispers of George Allen, Jack Kent Cook, Joe Gibbs and even Doug Williams with plays like this???

Fail to the Washington Wigwams. Fail. They will fail us. And bring shame... to ol' DC...

All we want for Christmas is a coach named Gruden.

The wind blew through open windows...

... and it was warm. I was crossing the Gandy to meet up with an old friend for dinner at a place that, well, was different when I left Tampa for Columbia, South Carolina just over three years ago. It was just over five years ago that I was last on Ulmerton Road in Clearwater, Florida. Then, I was saying goodbye.

Tonight, I was having dinner. What was Stormans evolved into this place called Venue, and while the decor has had a multi-million dollar facelift, the place was familiar. And the people were familiar. I guess it should be since I spent almost every Friday night there for the better part of three years or so. It was great to see Donnie Z... and even more surprising to see Steve Bain - who - in Ybor, at a place that doesn't exist anymore, turned me on to some of the most amazing drink concoctions I've ever had. Just as he had for some of the people at my old station before me. Namely Jeff Thomas, Jeff Thomas, and Kane during his first trip through the 813.

Anyway, with the windows in this rental PT Cruiser down, and with 98 Rock on, I remembered Christmas 2001...

... the boss was away, I think. I had been in Tampa for three weeks. I was working the holiday and some of our part timers, Structure, Jaime and Chubb I believe -- and I want to think ET was there at the time as well, were in Ybor a Hedo.

We were, ahem, celebrating Christmas Mixmas.

We were getting drunk. LOL. But we had a designated driver. And a bottle of Golschlager.

Anyway, later that night, we made a trip across the Gandy. We were looking for, ahem, food. Yeah. Food. Right. We happened to find some on 4th Street. In St. Pete. I forget what it was we were eating but it was tasty. I think we may have each thrown up on the St. Pete side, but I forget.
After all, it was over eight years ago.

Eight years. How amazing is it that time flies.

I miss that night. Tonight, while doing some shopping for Kyla at International Plaza, I missed some more nights. And some more days. And some more Sundays. Times have changed, memories live on...

... and, well, as fate may have it, I might not have to miss some things too much more when it comes to Tampa.

I've said before that this is a special town. When I was leaving, on my last day, Kane said to me on my final crossover on 93 that "This place has a way of pulling you back in... you'll be back."

Funny. He's right again. My brother usually is.

But... I wonder if he even knew the twist that life might bring when it comes to being "back" this next time.

BTW - can I just tell you - flying down to get Kyla, I ran - totally unplanned - into Kane's wife and his precious and beautiful little girl. We flew down together... we've known each other for - well - almost a decade now. That's a lot of time... it's just amazing to me how this life is.

It's time for me to go wrap some presents and enjoy some libations here at what is becoming my Tampa residence. You know you're spending too much time in a place when the Guest Service Manager, Dee Dee, at the Tampa Southeast HGI recognizes you and calls you by name when you walk through the door.

I guess I should have some mail forwarded here. LOL.

Santa Claus is on his way. I hope he brings you everything you wish for. I'm here in Tampa because back in 2004, at Tampa General at 1:23 am, he brought me my everything. My someone. And she changed my life. And she's why I'm here tonight...

... and why I'll see her at 10am after she has her time with her mom and whomever. LOL.

Merry Christmas to you and yours. If you don't rock out the Jesus, well, sorry that all the restaurants and shops are closed. Chinese places are open, though!

Ho Ho Ho...

Christmas Eve...

Well here we are. Well, here I am, in front of the fire while munchkin is in her room sleeping.

At least I think she's sleeping. She could be watching On-Demand Care Bear movies.

She's got full-on Comcast in her rock-star suite, and, well, she told me on the drive back from the Poconos, where we visited my parents for about 18 hours give or take - that she ordered some movies On-Demand.

I don't care. It's Christmas.

But I hope it's not a precursor of things to come!

It's so good when she's here. You know, her mom and I share her pretty much 50/50. We are both 100 percent parents, but up until she started Kindergarten, she was here for 1/2 a year and there for 1/2 a year  and she did most of the school year with me up until now, so it gets pretty lonely for a daddy when she's not here.

But when she is here it's so amazing. Hearing her play in her rock-star room with her toys... hearing her laughing aloud at movies, Animal Planet, etc is just so...

... well, it feels like home. She and I have a pretty special and amazing bond as a daddy and daughter, and I feel almost complete. I say almost because there's probably a piece to the puzzle that is missing or something. But it feels pretty good - and fulfilled to have her here. At our home in our Nation's Capital. At least for a little bit.

She's funny. On the way back she was already planning our next adventures for her next visit.

"I'm telling my mommy that I need to be back with you daddy in January so you can pick me up in the HOT Hummer Truck again and so we can play in the snow..."

I laughed but she was serious. "I'll write Kim at your work a note and ask her if you can have the hummer truck again and give it to you to give to her..."

I bet she writes it in the morning.

I do regret that the weather tossed a wrench into the plans. I had wanted to take Kyla to Massachusetts to see her Cousin, her Uncles Todd and Ryan, her Auntie Erin, her Grandparents and more of her family which kick it in the New England states. But alas it was not to be. And it bothers me a bit.

See, there's nothing more important than family, at least to me, at Christmas. Considering that the Christmas story is the story of the origin of a larger spiritual family, I think the holiday as we know it now, has lost a bit of it's soul.

I'm not going to get preachy, but I do have a thought to share on this. And it's on my heart, and this is my blog, after all, so I'm going to share if you don't mind.

See, Christmas is not about gifts or presents. It's not about retail madness and a rush to get the biggest and best things. It's not about a dollar figure assigned to a person for a present and it's not about parties and events and phony friendships which are so totally exposed as such around a dinner table.

It's about family. I think we've gotten away from this a bit. It's about spending time with those closest to you - who are completely honest with you and who have been there for you no matter what. About spending time saying a silent "thanks for being who you are" in my world as a father, mother, son, daughter, cousin, niece or nephew or uncle. It' about giving something simple because that simple something is what counts most. Not a gift from Tiffany and Company, although that is nice, or some other gift which you really can't afford.

You see, once upon a time, as the story goes, a Father sent his Son to the world to serve as the most precious gift that any one could possibly give. And that Son came to the world to give us a gift that - well - honestly, trumps any gift you think you might be able to give or receive at any point during this life you and I live.

And to give us that gift, that only Son of the Father made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could have this gift that - well - honestly - is worth so much more than we can ever fathom.

So while presents are nice, and jewelry is shiny. While material things are great for a season, and while diamonds are pretty much timeless, they're pretty much meaningless when it comes to the gift we were given when that Father sent his son to be born on this holiday we now celebrate... And when you think about it, what we've already been given is pretty much the best gift you could ever hope to receive... from anyone....

... that is, if you choose to believe as I do. If you do, then you know why this day is special for us. Just as  so many other high holy days are special to so many countless others. If you don't, well, you can ask someone who celebrates Christmas for what it should be - a solemn celebration of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth and for the story which this birth brings with it.

Let those who have ears to hear... hear! LOL! SO LET it BE WRITTEN!

Regardless of what your faith may be - as that is indeed a very personal thing between you and your creator - I hope that your family and friends find the peace and joy that I've found in these last few days with my family.

And when I say family, yes, I mean family. Even though it's immediate at times, extended at others, non-traditional and traditional and at times just weird. All in all -- it's family.

Merry Christmas Eve. You may now go back to last minute online shopping...

PS - I am not sure if I'll be able to do a FBJ Podcast tomorrow. He's in Vegas, and I'm East Coast and I fly at noon so... unless I can find a place to tape in Tampa tomorrow OR if I can call him from DC pretty early in the AM Vegas time, it might not happen... Here it is! The SNOWED IN CABIN FEVER podcast!

Guys - Sorry about this being posted incorrectly. Last evening, after a full day of making sure my home station, HOT 99-5 in DC, was good to go to deal with this blizzard, I hiked at the end of the day next door to the hotel they have us stay at when weather conditions go to hell in a handbasket. Unfortunately, the podcast wasn't posted correctly and I've heard from many of you on twitter and via emails about it. I tried to VPN in from next door late last night but, honestly, when we had trouble getting in, I just decided for the sake of my mental health to hit the bar with coworkers and watch the Cowboys tell the SAINTS to GEAUX TO HELL with their unbeaten season!

I hope you understand. Yesterday was a bitch.
I'm sorry. I'm so very appreciative of all of you who take the time to listen to this little 'hobby' podcast which started LOL back in Week ONE as a way for me to make sure I didn't blow it in my office football pool each week and well, now, all these weeks later it's sort of taken on a life of it's own and you guys really seem to enjoy listening to my mindlessness interacting with Football Jesus who, yes, is mostly right most of the time when it comes to the odds and football!

Anyway, again, I apologize for the technical difficulties. I'll try to keep them to a minimum going forward. And thanks again for listening and reading... Feel free to email me anytime at or

The podcast is hosted today on my home station's site, HOT in DC. Please feel free to poke around, check out my coworkers stuff and if you want to listen, click on listen live and enjoy!

This week...

Evan Taubenfeld will release his video for Merry Swiftmas...

Let me tell you how amazing it is.

Here we are at the holiday... with so much uncertainty and so much doubt, but this video and this song manage to show us that aside from the complicated, dreams really can be that simple.

Even when the dream is a dream for the biggest pop act on the planet at Christmas. Even more so when that person is wishing and betting on a a non-Jewish pause which causes us to press reset on the digital player of life.

Sometimes, when you wish hard enough for the holiday,  you get what you really want.

So, Evan, thank you. I'm thankful for what you've shared and for what we've received.

Let's get our holiday on, people. It's waaaaaaaaaay past some weirdo personal sentiment.

How do you respond to a statement like this?

A friend of mine got a complaint today - how would you respond?

I heard on this station that the bad economy was due to the 8 years before Obama, from wars, etc. This is a very inaccurate statement, and does not include the fact that most economic groups report the economy would be doing better if Obama had not spent 3.7 trillion dollars so far. That’s more than Bush spent on both wars during his time in office. This statement was made around 6:30ish PM, today (Friday). I have to ask that whoever made this statement correct it, or I can promise conservatives will begin boycotting your station. You *can not* have such a biased attitude on your station or it WILL result in a loss of listeners. Thank you very much.

Looking forward to your commentary below!

I feel mentally like I felt at times physically in High School. Specifically during pre-season two-a-days when we undertook crazy conditioning drills to get ourselves into shape to play football.

I remember Green Bay Grass Drills. Sprints of increasing yards. Mile runs. Leglifts. I remember it all.

I remember conditioning in Lancaster with Joe Wendler last time I lost all of this stuff on my gut. I hated it at the time but I remember how I felt when my body was my slave, doing what I commanded it to do because it was in shape more or less. Able to do what I needed it to do.

And while I need to do the physical, I have been mentally preparing myself lately for challenges. For doing things which are just a bit outside the comfort zone of complacency. For doing some things which will require me to reinvent on the fly and to become more than I am - and more than I think I can be - so that in the end, I can be what I'm supposed to be.

Does that make sense?

Anyway, I've been studying challenges. And leaders who have overcome amazing odds to defeat challenges which to you and I might seem either insignificant or might seem daunting. And in these studies I am finding that the strength to overcome is inside each of us as it is in me. All we need to do... is condition it.

So back to the mental wind-sprints I go. I'm looking forward to making even more people go "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot???" as the days and weeks ahead present themselves...

Colin Powell was right. "Don't be afraid to challenge the pros. Even in their own backyard..."

The thing is, in this case, I used to share that backyard and they were neighbors.

Someone else was right, too, when he said "GOMF..."

Gotta go run some mental laps now. Talk soon...

Tonight, I've enjoyed the relative calm of the evening with friends - and in particular - "hanging on the island" as I would have said in Tampa. When I lived 'on the island.'

Of course, I live in suburban DC now.

Anyway, Here we are. For me, it's another new beginning. For many, it's just December 6th.

I can't believe the live I've lived. Really, when I stop and look at the times back in 1996 or 1997 -- "the year... of HOT 97..." I realize what an amazing journey life has allowed me to be a part of. I realize that almost by mistake, and by happenstance and by a whole lot of passion tempered with pure luck, I've been able to have the career I have, the family I have and the life I have.

And we're only just getting warmed up.

I think the thing I want to share tonight is that life has no agenda. It has no time frame. People might. People you might be subservient to at a time might. Overall, you might try to influence it, but in the end, life happens the way it is supposed to happen.

So tonight, I think back to Lancaster. To Wilkes Barre/Scranton. To Stroudsburg. To Tampa. To Columbia. And I think to myself it's been an amazing ride. I've been allowed to learn, grow, and to entertain on a myriad of platforms which so many other only wish they could be a part of. At times, I've failed. Sometimes, we've won. And won big.

But overall, I've been allowed to live a life.

This is not the end of a chapter. It's the turn of a page to begin the writing of the next.

I don't know how this story will end. I know this much. I've tried to be the best at what I do within what I'm capable of being. I hope it's been enough. I've tried to be the best daddy I can be. I pray that it's been enough. I've tried to be the best person and BF I can be, and while I've failed recently at the BF part, what I've learned is invaluable and I think I'm better for what is to come next.

I've lived a blessed life to this point. 35 years past the beginning. A million miles left to go in the journey.

Thank you for being a part of it. Thank you for being with me as we continue on the great adventure.

Saddle up.

Thank you to all for the many birthday messages, emails and posts. I love you all. For some of you, you make this life what it is to me. For one of you, you are why I live to be the best I can be everyday.

For another, well, you helped to give me that one so I will always love who you are in my life and what you mean to Kyla and me. For all of you.... you are amazing. You make this gig and life what it is. And your love gives me strength for the journey.

For the rest of you who are reading... well, many of you know who you are. Even Hot Renee Sara. But aside from the comedic relief of an aside here and there, know that you are what it is that makes me who I am... and thank you for that. I'm better for who you've made me. I'm better for who you are.

And tomorrow is more exciting than yesterday. So let's go.

Rich Stevens sent me this... I still can't get over it!

WARNING NSFKAW!!!! Watch at your own risk!

Read more at HIS site!

White House Party Crashers BOUNCE some CHECKS!

Hey - everyone has bounced checks before. It happens. No harm no foul. But when the amount gets to be RIDICULOUS...

Like to the tune of $11k, $24k and more... you gotta throw the CON ARTIST flag!

The Salahis, who are now famous for being liars and crashing the White House State Dinner after using a ton of BULL$H!T to make it happen, are being SUED for $24k by Montgomery County for LIQUOR!

Really! Read this!

A good highlight --> The Montgomery County government, which conducts all the wholesale liquor sales on its territory, filed a lawsuit Thursday against Michaele and Tareq Salahi in Montgomery County District Court. The Salahis purchased wine and beer for a charity polo event they held in Montgomery County in May.

And all this is coming to light... why? Because they decided to con their way into the White House... and, well, now their world is coming to an end.

In other Cirque du Salahli news...

They stiffed a landscaper for $2k, so the judge took his $325k watch to sell to satifsfy the debt! Read more here.

Oh and there's this.

Snow. It just seems to happen....

It's actually sorta peaceful to see. Snow from the window of the studio. I've missed you. I don't miss shoveling you, or having to scrape you off the car, but let it snow. Now it feels like Christmas!

So, today's a big college football day... and honestly... the FOOTBALL JESUS got me into watching this in addition to the NFL ball... so I'll have one eye on ESPN today while we watch some pretty big games today. Normally, I'd not say this but GO CLEMSON and GO GATORS! LOL... We're taping the NFL picks podcast here in a bit... last week I had the best week I've ever had in the Cappy pool... Tied for FIRST but missed on the tiebreaker point guess to Eddie Brennan, who works for Creed's label. He's a great guy and deserved the win, so I can't be poopy pants. But, how far have we come? Over the last three seasons in this pool, I've gone from laughing stock, to getting the shyt kicked out of me, to actually having a pretty competitive season, and it's because of the things and stragtegies I learned by listening to the FBJ and from doing the podcast with him!

No this isn't a paid endorsement. But it's fun. I've got new respect for it all now. Eff the bookies... let's WIN! LOL. Not that I'm betting much. Don't have much to bet! LOL!

Speaking of the Gators and football... someone sent me this... and it's too funny not to share!

In honor of Tebow's sheer awesomeness, we give you the Tebow SEC Championship Drinking Game!

* Drink every time Tebow is called "a warrior." Bonus chug if any of your friends sing the first two lines of Scandal's opus "I am a warrior" and change the lyrics to "Tebow is..." Dance, Tebow, you magnificent *******.

* Drink every time Tebow's called "a leader," then salute.

* Drink every time Tebow's called a "special athlete," then yell "Tiiiimmmmmmmmay!"

* Finish your drink if the announcers suggest Tebow should win the Heisman again this year.

* Drink every time Tebow points to the sky. Then realize the only reason the sky hasn't fallen is the strength of his pointing.

* Drink every time Tebow references God. Or himself. Tom-A-to. Tom-ah-to.

* Drink every time he's shown on the sidelines flapping his arms like a bird (or an idiot) to pump up the crowd.

* If (when) Tebow actually takes flight, finish your drink and do a shot.

* Drink every time Tebow's on camera for no reason when the Florida defense is on the field.

* Drink every time Tebow is seen screaming with his helmet off.

* Drink every time they show a "I Heart Tebow" sign in the stands.

* Drink every time you see a Florida fan in jorts. (Small sips on this one. Otherwise it could kill you).

* Shot every time they mention his experience as missionary.

* If they mention him performing circumcisions in the Philippines while he was a missionary - Chug your beer, do a shot of Patron.

Disclaimer: Playing the Tebow drinking game may result in death. So don't do it. Ever. Not even in jest. The content above this disclaimer is a joke, not a suggestion. If you're dumb enough to do it, just pray Tebow is nearby. Only he can save you. Him or a local hospital with a stomach pump!

PS - this is a good podcast for SEC fans... check this out!

Stay thirsty, my friends.... back to the show I go...

I love odds. It's a pretty recent love affair, but for some reason, I love what the odds mean to pundits, what the odds mean to teammates, what the odds mean to people in general.

Odds are the sun will rise tomorrow.

Odds are that in the DC area we'll see snow by Saturday.

Odds are that tomorrow morning, people everywhere will wake up, prepare to go about their days, and live their lives.

But odds are funny. Especially when the odds are against you. That's where - at least, to me, it gets fun.

Don't read anything into this. I'm not contemplating or facing some unreal odds for something. I've just been thinking about how the impossible becomes possible lately and I've been studying what it is that is the catalyst for the tipping point. I've been seeing some patterns, and some similarities in some amazing stories of people who turned a unexpected risk into a cutural-impacting reality. In almost every case - something was done which people said was "crazy." That people said "couldn't be done."

I don't know about you, but when you tell me I can't do something, or that it's crazy, it sort of motivates me to doing that which is deemed 'impossible...' Maybe that's just me.

People count you out. They don't think you're capable of, well, accomplishing something that defies the odds. I'm not sure why, but for some reason, the odds - and doing things which counter or are against the odds, brings me this almost twisted sense of bliss. It's like when you break a rule for the first time to find that it actually allowed you to do something in a new way which you never thought possible.

Anyway, this post is really about doing something which seems against the odds. Which is so unexpected that nobody knows what to think because it's so outrageous that, well, odds are against it happening and if it does happen, odds are it won't end well for all involved.

I think it's in those moments, when we say yes, eff the odds, let's give it a go, that we find a part of ourselves which we never knew existed.

Odds said that Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders couldn't be two sport athletes. Both did so. Sure, injuries changed Bo's plans and Deion's prime time became, well, NFL Network time, but nonetheless, they said eff the odds and they had fun doing so.

So line up against the odds. Then defy them. And control the destiny which ultimately belongs to you alone.

Salahis decline to testify before House committee

Tareq and Michaele Salahi will not testify before Congress on Thursday about how they got into the White House last week for President Obama's first state dinner, the Associated Press reported. The Salahis' publicist said in a statement that the couple had already provided information to lawmakers.

Taylor Swift Super HOT In A Bikini

What an amazing day...

5:45am. Arrive at BWI.
7:00am. Depart for RDU.
8:00am. Arrive RDU, deplane passengers, depart for TPA
10:30am. Arrive TPA.
11:00am. Pick up my friend Aimee.
11:30am. Drop Aimee off at 4002 Gandy, go get a haircut. Call my friend Scantlebury to eff with him and get a shoutout from him on the station I used to compete with. LOL.
12:15p. Lunch at Kojacks with Thomas Chuck and Aimee. Run into Johnny Mac and Debbie McCarthy. Amazing to see them and reconnect a bit.
1:30p. Take Aimee to Hotel in Channelside. Check into my hotel, but decide not to push it, return to Forum for 2:30p meet time.
2:30p. Meet Kyla and Dana at Forum to prepare for Miley soundcheck party.
5:00p. Kyla meets Miley Cyrus. Gives her a picture. Gets a hug.
5:30p. Dinner at Stumps Channelside with Kyla, Dana and Aimee.
7:30p. Return to venue. Aimee deals with winners. Kyla and Dana go into the show.
8:00p. Miley takes stage. Plays til 9:30p.
9:30p. Return to Aimee's hotel, say goodbyes, share a few drinks of diet coke. Yes. really. Well she had wine but I had diet coke.
10:30p depart for my hotel near Airport, temped to detour through Thee Dollhouse. Resist the urge and return to hotel.

Wake up tomorrow... at 4:45. Flight back to TPA at 7:10. I think. Better check that...

Anyway, life is amazing. And yes, it was a tough day, and I'm exhausted...

... but this...

Makes it all worth it.

Aimee, Tony and David - thanks for making it happen. Tommy, thanks for being you and for always offering me the Kane suite at your place, and for always being a guy ready to welcome me back to the 813/727 at a moments notice. Dana, thanks for giving me a wonderful daughter and, as non-traditional as it may be, for being a great family partner as we raise our girl. Zubrick and Tiffany, thanks for hitting me online,  as well as Fester and the formerly Wacky now Knockout Jackie... I promise I'll be here longer next time. I promise. Simone, thanks for, well, being you. Mannino, thanks for letting me crash in your office for a bit as we reconnected after five years. It felt like I never left. Kim, LOL thanks for being there to LOL tell me how much you love BLG and Taylor Swift! I still remember some Bon Jovi from a lifetime ago... HA!

And Miley, thanks for making a little girl's dream come true. I know that you were pulled in a million directions, and I know that you went out of your way to bring her joy. Thank you for that.

Okay, I wanted to say a word about friends before I pass the eff out.

They're so precious.

It doesn't matter how much time goes by, how much weight you gain or lose, how much things change...  in the last 24 hours, I can tell you that friendships and relationships which have stood the test of time are so special. People I've known for years, welcomed me back with open arms like I never left Tampa. People I've not seen in years were engaging, embracing and, well, just so amazing to be around.

To my friends who made today so full of color... thank you. I hope I can be to you what you are to me.

Oh yeah, see pics from the day here.

PS, TTMM, thank you for letting me have the extraordinary latitude to be the best I can be as a a daddy while I strive to be the best I can be on air and in our career. I remember once upon a time someone wouldn't let me have 'time off' to live my life because 'we're in a ratings period' or something. Thanks for proving that you can be the best at work and in life by letting me have the time I've needed over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Portions of today's broadcast may have been recorded in advance before a live studio audience...

You know, I don't know why I just didn't take yesterday off, but I didn't. Especially since here I am again, at the airport about to hop on yet another SWA flight to TPA. But today, I'm jetting down to TPA fora a pretty special reason - at least to me.

See, Miley Cyrus is doing a show in the town I used to call home, and the place where Kyla was born and now calls home during the school year...

... and one of the cool things about this life I live and this career I have is that we get pretty unique opportunities when it comes to artists, and the music we play.

And if Kyla wants to meet Miley, well, that's what we're gonna do.

Some people I know - and who I love - have said to me that "you spoil her..." and "what will she have left to look forward too when she's sixteen or whatever..." Yup. You're right. I do spoil her. I mean, after all, she's my only one, and I love her more than I ever thought I could love anything else in this life, so, yeah, I'm gonna give her the chance to experience everything she wants to if I can possibly do it. Miley is for whatever reason an idol to her and I can think of far worse people to look up too.

All I'm saying this morning after 4 hours of sleep before I hop this flight to Raleigh, connecting on to Tampa, is that if I can make some dreams come true - even if they're fleeting and childish little things like taking my kiddo to see Miley - I'm gonna try to do it. There's nothing like seeing this munchkin smile with joy over something she loves. Her laugh when she's excited is infectious. And every time I get to experience these moments of pure bliss, I realize dreams of my own...

So here I am again. At the airport. A place I've been getting to know pretty well over the last few days and weeks...

.... but I do what I do because being a daddy demands I do it. And I'm thankful I have a job that allows me the freedom to do it. Because in the end, there's nothing more important than being a great daddy to a little girl... and absolutely nothing is more precious than family.

How 'bout dem Saints last night??! Wow! Football Jesus was right... again!

Alright. I'm in group A25. I need to sync up the iPhone for the flight down and double check some stuff before we take off. I'll of course tweet some updates and stuff...

Live with passion today. God knows it's worth it.
