What a day.

Football is back.

Kayne - well - is Kayne.

Nontheless, it's a good time for each of us to remember that we've all made mistakes. We've all missed the mark and we've all ruined the moment. Most of us, I think, have managed to make a comeback provided we've wanted to genuinely do so.

The first step in atonement is to recognize a failing. The second is to seek forgiveness. The third is often the hardest...

... making a change, paying the price for the mistake and changing your heart.

I don't doubt Kayne was emotional. I don't doubt that he's genuinely got a great heart. He's certainly got an amazing gift.

I hope he'll take this moment and internalize it so he might be able to make a change in himself and in turn, continue to make a difference with his art in this world.

And it will start with two words:

I'm sorry.

It's all on him now. What he chooses to become as he continues to travel down this life's road... is soley in his control.
