the burial of michael jackson...

... how moving.

refresh often... i'll post my thoughts here...

it's sad that in death do we only realize ones greatness...

... and he was the greatest of our time.

I can now understand what my parents felt about Elvis and the Beatles...

the children... you know, it doesn't matter where life comes from. family doesn't have to mean "biological..." Rather, family means love, and if MJ took these children in to become his... and for him to become their father, then therein we will find the foundations of unconditional love. I have no doubt he was a great father. There's something about a child - your child - that brings out the best in you and unleashes some inner primal power which is nothing short of amazing...

>>>

michael arriving... but the live picture has now been cut off... i guess for privacy... sad, but if this night has taught me anything, it's the value of living a private life and maintaing that little bit of something that makes life special...

ooh... cnn dumps spots.... that's big. esp. for a network. all the jackson bros and their gloves... the service looks beautiful. is that coffin all gold? or bronze? prob. gold... weird they've kept the body on ice this entire time. is that a crown they've placed on top of his coffin?

>>>>>

really not diggin' the CNN commentary right now. I guess maybe it's because I wish I were hearing what  must be the most amazing service we've seen of a private person in my lifetime. This overhead shot is not doing us justice. But, I get that privacy has to be maintained. I wonder who will step forward to give testimony about what Michael Jackson had to give to this world. I bet those who brought up these baseless charges against him - including Martin Bashir, who made a career based on lies - must really feel karma closing in this evening...

>>>>>>>>>>

now, more past interviews about michael. crazy. for some reason I'd rather be hearing the testimony about the life of the man. I mean, love, hate or misunderstand him -- he was truly someone amazingly special. Rodney, work the music out and release it. Our world needs some music with some soul...

unreleased janet and michael would be nothing short of prolific.

>>>>>>>>

i wish mj would have been laid to rest at neverland... even in death his life would have restored his ideal home that he tried to share with so many. He was so misunderstood... maybe it is true that only in death can we really find that story which life ultimately continues to tell...

>>>>>>>>>

sort of fitting, isn't it, that MJ is laid to rest before reproductions of the best works of history's greatest artists... although MJ was no reproduction...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

so long Anderson... wow... they pass it off to LK w/ some inside edition dude... who the eff is this guy?

>>>>>>>>

so now we wait. i wonder if they're going to release the 'internal footage' from the event... as bad as I want to watch/listen to this, i understand the need for peace for this man and his family...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>

a man who lived life on his own time. even in death, mj is dictating the timeframe. as my friend stick would say, "that's pimp..."

>>>>>>>>>>>

liz taylor. maculay culkin. lisa marie. barry bonds. what a mix of people. no doubt...

>>>>>>>>>>

the thoughts of all these old dudes... it's touching.

did smokey have some botox?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

i hope it's a ceremony in the vision of what katherine jackson would have wanted to see... she seems to be the one woman who stayed completely loyal to her baby boy..

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

God... Joe Jackson speaking... I'm not gonna judge. But wow...

>>>>>>

The breaking news... Gladys Knight sang... Lisa Marie emotional when MJ arrived... it's amazing how much he moved the people he actually came into contact with...

>>>>>>>>>>>>

not sure when this will end... this seems to be the fitting final post for real time blogging...
