FW: monday morning cheat sheet

Hey peeps…

Busy Monday on hand today. Our Lady Peace was here earlier for our sister rock station, and Rob Thomas will be here at 2:30 to talk, hang and perform. He’s ALL OVER twitter… anyway, so I have some things to get done, but wanted to share this email with you.

It’s from Skip Isley, who works in the record world. It’s a cool snapshot as to what is happening in the world. I like to look at this because it’s a great one-sheet. Give it a quick glance and you get a good look at what is going on in the world of music – at least when it comes to what we’re playing on the radio. As you can see, BEP’s are on fire. So is Taylor and Keri Hilson. Gaga and Perry seem to be losing some steam, but their songs are still on fire.

Also – good new music that people are digging and that radio is playing would be Jay Sean, KoL, Miley and Pitbull. Cobra is also on fire.

What are overnights? Well, just that. Songs that are getting banged in the overnight only. If you want to know more about that, comment me ;)

Have a great Monday, peeps… More later.

PS – I’m doing fine, I just miss the munchkin… thanks for all your tweets, and emails asking… J

Joke Of The Week

A mortician was working late one night.
He examined the body of Mr. Schwartz, about to be cremated, and made a startling discovery.
Schwartz had the largest private part he had ever seen!
'I'm sorry Mr. Schwartz,' the mortician commented, 'I can't allow you to be cremated with such an impressive private part.
It must be saved for posterity..'
So, he removed it, stuffed it into his briefcase, and took it home.
'I have something to show you won't believe,' he said to his wife, opening his briefcase.
'My God!' the wife exclaimed,
'Schwartz is dead!'
